September 2016 was an intense and exciting month for the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, as host and organizer of two of the season’s leading yachting competitions. The month kicked off with the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup – boasting a line-up of the largest fleet of Maxi yachts since the race was first held in 1980 – and was followed by the Rolex Swan Cup, which marked the 50th anniversary of the founding of boat builder Nautor’s Swan and the 19th edition of the event.
